Privacy Policy

CodaSky LLC (“CodaSky,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a company based in the United States. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect when you visit codasky.com (the “Site”) or get in touch, how we use it, and what choices you have.

The short version: we collect very little. We use Google Analytics to see how the Site is used, and we keep your email address if you write to us. We don't sell your information.

This Privacy Policy applies only to codasky.com. Our product, CodaURL, including its mobile apps, is covered by its own privacy policy at codaurl.com.

We try to collect only what we need to run the Site and respond to you.

• Contact information. When you email us, we receive your email address and anything you choose to include in your message.
• Usage data. We use Google Analytics to collect limited technical information, such as pages visited, browser and device type, approximate location, and referring URLs. Google Analytics uses cookies or similar technologies to do this. We use this information to understand how the Site is used and to keep it secure.

We don't knowingly collect sensitive information like government ID numbers or financial account numbers.

We use the information described above to:

• Respond to messages sent to admin@codasky.com
• Understand how the Site is used, and maintain, secure, and improve it
• Comply with legal obligations

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it with anyone for their own marketing.

We only share information with:

• Service providers that help us run the Site, such as hosting and email delivery providers. They can only use it to provide their service to us, and they're required to keep it confidential.
• Analytics providers. Google processes usage data collected through Google Analytics.
• Legal or safety purposes, when the law requires it, or when needed to protect the rights, property, or safety of CodaSky, our users, or others.

We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We keep your contact information for as long as we need it to reply to you, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first. Analytics data is kept according to Google Analytics' retention settings. We may keep some information longer if the law requires it.

You can opt out of Google Analytics using your browser settings, cookie controls, or Google's opt-out tools.

Depending on where you live, you may also be able to:

• Ask what personal information we hold about you
• Ask us to correct inaccurate information
• Ask us to delete your information
• Opt out of future communications from us

To make a request, email admin@codasky.com. We may need to verify it's you first, and we'll get back to you within a reasonable time.

If you live in California, you have the right to:

• Know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose
• Request deletion of your personal information
• Request correction of inaccurate personal information
• Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights

We don't sell personal information as defined under the CCPA/CPRA. To submit a request, email admin@codasky.com. We may need to verify your identity first.

We run the Site from the United States, so information you provide may be processed and stored here. If you're visiting from another country, your information will be transferred to the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those where you live.

The Site isn't meant for children under 13 (or the applicable age of consent where you live), and we don't knowingly collect their personal information. If you think a child has given us personal information, email admin@codasky.com and we'll delete it.

We use reasonable safeguards to protect information submitted through the Site. But no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll post the new version on the Site and update the “Last updated” date above. If you keep using the Site after the changes take effect, you're agreeing to the updated Policy.
